Heart of the City shortlisted for prestigious property award

Building on the success of the original Heart of the City project a decade ago, the current 1.5 million sq ft masterplan is transforming the area of Sheffield city centre located between The Moor, Fargate and the Devonshire Quarter. Sheffield City Council and its Strategic Development Partner, Queensberry, are delivering this £480 million mixed-use development, which comprises new retail brands, flexible modern workspaces, bars and restaurants, live entertainment venues, new homes, an upscale hotel and world class public spaces.

The Outstanding Development of the Year category recognises excellent delivery and planning of a project, pure design quality, leasing successes, challenges faced and a development’s contribution to its local area.

A winner of the awards will be unveiled at the Insider SCR Property Awards Dinner on 1 July.
